NATURAL AND ELEGANT - BUILT TO LAST
Hardwood gates bring warmth, character and a natural elegance that suits everything from period homes and country properties to contemporary new builds. Every wooden electric gate is made to measure and can be left to weather naturally, stained, or painted in a colour to match your home. We design, build and install automated wooden gates across Surrey, London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire.

Which wooden gate is right for you?
Every design is bespoke and drawn up to suit your opening, so these are starting points rather than a catalogue. We'll work with you and your property to give you choices that meet your needs.
Single or double leaf, opening inwards. The most popular choice for level driveways with room to swing.
These gates glide along the boundary, with no ground track needed for cantilever designs. Great for sloping and short driveways.
We can design, build and install matching side gates for paths and gardens, with keypad or fob entry if you want it.
Choose solid boards for complete privacy, or horizontal or vertical slats spaced for a glimpse through.
Carry the design along your boundary with bespoke railings or panels made in metal or in the same timber and finish as your gate.
Our experts are ready to assess your needs and craft an automated gate solution that enhances your home’s security and style.
CUSTOMISE YOUR GATE IN STYLE
Add the finishing touches to your timber gate with bespoke gate accessories made to suit your property. From letterboxes and house signs to lighting, brickwork and fencing, we design and install every detail so it all works together.
Built into your wooden gate, or into your brickwork, pillars or fencing. We can also include post boxes, so your letters are secure and neatly integrated into the entrance.
Completely bespoke to suit your property, from traditional slate to sleek, contemporary designs to match your timber gate.
Motion-sensor, security and external lighting, fitted neatly to your gate, pillars or walls. Choose compact designs on the front or side of the gate pillars, up and down lights, recessed lighting or path lights.
Bespoke gate pillars, brickwork and boundaries, styled to suit your property. We build sympathetically to the surrounding area, giving your wooden gates a setting that looks right from day one.
Groundworks to make your driveway ready for an electric gate. We prepare and finish the ground so your wooden gate operates smoothly.
Made to match your wooden gate and finish your boundary. We craft bespoke fencing in timber, metal or aluminium, so everything ties together.
Our Work

Wood gives you a choice of finishes. Keep the natural grain of the hardwood with a clear or tinted treatment, or paint your gates in the colour of your choice, including a match to your front door. We’ll talk you through what suits your timber and your property.
We don't stop there: posts, fencing and any ancillary items will be carefully designed to complement your home.
It depends on the groundwork, electrical connections, and gate configuration. Standard residential gate automation typically takes 2-3 days once any groundwork and electrical preparation is done. Larger custom systems, or extras like intercoms and access control, may take longer. We’ll give you a detailed schedule at the consultation.
Absolutely. Our systems come with remote access options including smartphone integration, key fobs, and intercoms. With smart home connectivity you can open, close, and monitor your gate from anywhere using a mobile app.
Like any natural material, wood benefits from a little care. We’ll advise on the right treatment, and recommend re-treating or repainting every 5 years, or when needed, to keep it protected. You can allow wooden gates to go silver but once the desired look is achieved, you must reapply oil to extend the life of the gates.
We also recommend annual servicing of the automation, which includes lubricating moving parts, checking motor efficiency, testing safety sensors and updating system software.
Yes, all our automated gate systems include advanced safety features designed to prevent accidents and ensure secure operation. These include obstacle detection sensors, photocells, and force limitation technology to stop movement if an obstruction is detected. Additionally, we install all electric gates in compliance with UK safety regulations, ensuring they meet the latest industry standards for home security and automation.
It comes down to privacy. Solid gates give you complete screening from the road, while slatted designs let in light and give a glimpse through. We’ll help you pick the right balance for your property.
Yes! A small dongle fitted inside your gate board lets us monitor your system’s health, check safety alarms and, if a device fails, operate the gate remotely using hold-to-run.
We’re based in Hampshire and install electric wooden gates across Surrey, London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire. Not in one of these areas? Get in touch and tell us about your project. We’ll always let you know whether it’s something we can take on.
