BESPOKE AND ROBUST
Every gate we make is fabricated by hand from mild steel, in hollow section or solid bar depending on the strength, weight and look the gate needs. Where it suits the design, we combine the steel with timber or aluminium for different parts and aesthetics. Nothing comes off a shelf. Each gate is drawn up around your opening, your property and how you want it to work.
We’re based in Hampshire and make and install handmade gates across Surrey, London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire. Any gate we build can be combined with automation and security, whether that’s a simple electric opener, an intercom or full access control.

Which HANDMADE gate is right for you?
Every design is bespoke and drawn up to suit your opening, so these are starting points rather than a catalogue. We’ll work with you to find the design that suits your property.
A handmade gate for a side path, front garden or garden entrance, in any style from simple and clean to ornate and traditional.
Taller gates for added privacy and security, with solid, slatted or open designs to suit how much you want to see through.
Swing or sliding gates made to measure for your entrance. We can build in wood, composite board or aluminium slat infills, and add automation.
Heavy-duty gates for properties and sites that need serious protection, combined with automation and access control.
Tell us what you need and we’ll talk through the options, from materials to finishes to automation, and design a gate that suits your home and your budget.
Our Work

A good finish is what makes a handmade gate last. Our gates are hot-dip galvanised as standard, then finished the way you want them: primed and powder coated, wet sprayed, or given a patina for a more characterful, aged look.
Then come the details that make it yours. We craft finials, scrollwork and raised motifs by hand, and can laser cut bespoke parts, house numbers and lettering to go with them. Infills can be timber, composite boards or aluminium slats, and we’ll design posts and any matching items to complement your home.

“If anybody is considering having gates, we would not hesitate in recommending Rory Fraser. We had some challenging levels on one of the gates which was installed and from the survey to end product the whole process was seamless. We could not be happier. Thank you Rory and the team.”
