A balustrade is a safety barrier made up of a top rail, infill support (such as balusters, panels or cables) and a bottom rail. It protects the edges of staircases, balconies, terraces and decks, inside and out, and it’s often the first thing people notice about a staircase.
We make ours by hand in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, in styles ranging from modern and sweeping with decorative finishes to traditional steel infill. We can combine metal balustrades with wooden handrails for a warmer finish, and every design meets safety and UK building regulations. We’re based in Hampshire and install across Surrey, London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire.

We don’t just make the balustrade, we can make the stairs too. That includes hardwood timber treads, so the whole staircase is designed and built together and everything fits. We work on internal and external staircases and fire escapes, and one team looks after the design, fabrication and installation.
Our balustrades are galvanised and powder coated in the colour of your choice, giving a tough finish that stands up to the weather outdoors and looks good in any interior.
We can pair the metalwork with wooden handrails and hardwood treads, and design the posts, rails and fixings together so the whole staircase looks right.
